We celebrated Administrative Professionals Day on April 24th! And what an awesome group to celebrate! We sure are lucky to have you on our team!

Jeans for a Cause

We awarded the Empower Boone Food Pantry a check for the funds raised from our Q1 Jeans for a Cause fundraiser. Thank you to Empower Boone for continuing to help support those in need!

Brenda from Empower Boone told us that they can purchase $8.00 worth of food for our hungry neighbors who are struggling to feed their families for every $1.00 donated. Our staff has helped provide $4,160.00 worth of groceries!

Forreston Grade School 4th Grade

Some of our staff went to the Forreston Grade School and spent the day practicing counting money with the 4th graders!

Know the Red Flags of a Fraudulent Email

Fraudulent emails are getting harder to spot these days. Here are some red flags to watch out for when you get an email, especially one that asks you to enter your personal/account info:

• The email has spelling or grammar errors.
• The email tells you to act quickly if you don’t want to lose something.
• The email has a strange-looking URL link (you can check the URL link without actually clicking on it, just hover your mouse over it and it will display the entire URL link).
• The email doesn’t directly address you by name (it uses something like “Dear valued customer).
• The email address ends with “@gmail.com,” “@hotmail.com,” or another public domain.

If you are ever in doubt about an email, don't click anything.  Always contact the person or sender directly by calling a number you can trust - use the company's official website or a statement from the company to find that number.  Never use the number listed in the suspicious email or text.
